Accounting Manager, Client Accounting Services/Outsourcing Join Aprio, a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm, as an Accounting Manager in our Client Accounting Services/Outsourcing team. Team Management: Coach and mentor team members, providing regular feedback and review. Review employee tasks, work items, and client service hours to ensure expectations are met and timely. Manage client allocations and team capacity, reviewing and actively monitoring time entries. Coordinate with the Philippines team leader on team management and client deliverables. Ensure initiatives from leadership are communicated and enacted by the team. Onboarding And Client Oversight: Lead onboarding efforts for new clients, ensuring a seamless experience. Document specific client processes and assess cleanup efforts needed. Ensure team deliverables meet services outlined in MSAs. Monitor work performed by the team for scope creep and correct as needed. Review job profitability for clients and notify operations and sales teams when necessary. Manage client escalations as the first point of contact. Technical Skills: Provide advisory work to clients as needed. Hold month-end close clients dependent on team size. Proficient understanding of US GAAP. Foster an environment of continuous learning, seeking technical strength within the segment served. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a professional services environment. People management experience of 2+ years. Experience managing multiple client engagements in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA a plus). Excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting team culture. The salary range for this opportunity is $100,000 - $140,000 per year.
