We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with numbers, contracts, and billing processes. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate invoicing, compliance with contractual requirements, and timely collection of payments.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly invoices and coordinate with project managers to gather necessary documentation.
• Review contracts to understand payment terms and subcontractor agreements.
• Verify lien releases from subcontractors for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure subcontractor documentation complies with contractual requirements.
• Analyze and reconcile subcontractor pay applications, entering them into relevant systems.
• Identify billing requirements and ensure proper classification of costs and lien waivers.
• Maintain accurate records of monthly billing logs and ensure all projects are invoiced timely.
• Manage accounts receivable collections and address inquiries related to subcontractor invoices.
• Maintain and update the accounts receivable customer database.
• Assist with certified payroll submissions and weekly check distributions.• Minimum of 3-5 years of administrative or office experience, preferably in accounts receivable.
• Strong familiarity with billing functions, cash applications, and collections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and contract administration.
• Experience in construction or manufacturing industries is a plus but not mandatory.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
