A law firm is seeking a motivated Bankruptcy Associate Attorney in Ridgeland, Mississippi. The ideal candidate will join a team focused on representing secured creditors in consumer bankruptcy matters, including Chapters 7, 11, and 13. This role requires a strong understanding of the Bankruptcy Code and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively. Duties Represent secured creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Handle contested and uncontested bankruptcy matters. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents. Attend hearings throughout Mississippi as needed. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality legal services. Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school. Licensed and in good standing in Mississippi. 2-3 years of experience in consumer bankruptcy law preferred. Knowledge of bankruptcy rules and electronic court filing systems. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) Certifications Licensed to practice law in Mississippi Skills Excellent legal research and writing skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Positive attitude and adaptability to change.
