Bankruptcy Litigation Associate Attorney –| $200k–$315k| Wilmington, DE; New York, NY
An Am Law 200 law firm with a national presence is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney to join its Delaware, or New York offices. The firm maintains an active and sophisticated bankruptcy and restructuring practice, representing clients in matters throughout New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Texas, and Florida .
The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative and well-established team that handles complex Chapter 11 proceedings, creditor and debtor representations, and related commercial litigation matters.
ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters, including Chapter 11 cases, creditor committee representation, and related litigation.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, and related bankruptcy filings.
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on bankruptcy and restructuring issues.
Collaborate with partners and associates across offices on multi-jurisdictional matters.
Maintain direct client contact and participate in strategy development and negotiations.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
2+ years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, or commercial litigation.
Bar admission in one or more states where the firm maintains an office ( Delaware or New York required).
Strong academic credentials and exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Litigation experience is a plus.
Competitive starting salary ($200,000 – $315,000 , based on experience).
