RPM Staffing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist in McKinney, Texas!

The well qualified candidate will play a key part in ensuring accurate billing processes, timely collections, and exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for numbers, strong organizational skills, and experience in accounts receivable, we want to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create invoices and credit memos with precision and efficiency.
• Update and maintain accurate customer files to support seamless transactions.
• Send invoices and payment reminders to customers, ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Collect all necessary information required for accurate calculations.
• Calculate and update accounts receivables, monitoring balances closely.
• Inspect all invoices for errors prior to delivery to maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Process bills from clients or customers promptly and professionally.
• Oversee the review of monthly balances across departments to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized financial records of invoices and related documents for easy retrieval and compliance.
• Assist clients via phone calls and emails to resolve invoice-related issues and queries.
• Collaborate internally with other departments, such as shipping, to streamline operations.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective customer and team interactions.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately and independently.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with a focus on Excel.
• Solid knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software.
• 3-5 years of AR/Billing experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some coursework in bookkeeping is preferred.
• Three to five years of related experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
