GRYT is seeking a Business Analyst / Scrum Master to support agile application development and delivery for a Federal client. Projects include agile development of new applications and modernization of legacy applications using both custom and low-code approaches.
Function as both the Scrum Master and Business Analyst on software development and operations and maintenance projects, utilizing agile software development methodology.
Guide and coach the scrum team, especially Product Owners, on agile practices and principles.
Resolve team and cross-functional team impediments and escalate as needed.
Work closely with the Product Owner, stakeholders, and scrum team daily.
Present and provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders on status, risks, and mitigation, in both written and verbal communications.
Manage the project schedule and roadmap.
Facilitate and lead all scrum meetings (daily scrum, release/sprint planning, demos, etc.).
Guide the team in determining and defining scope, roadmap, and vision.
Collaborate with IT stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure the minimum viable product (MVP) satisfies the business need.
Work with IT stakeholders and customers to translate business needs into software requirements.
Develop and maintain requirements documentation (process diagrams, use cases, user stories, RTMs, etc.).
Lead clarification and validation of requirements during development and delivery of the solution.
Manage time efficiently on tasks.
Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Take responsibility for project tasks and ensure timely completion.
