Business Valuation Analyst Position Summary: The Business Valuation Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive valuations of privately held businesses. This role involves analyzing business operations, financial statements, market conditions, and industry trends to provide accurate and insightful valuation reports. The analyst will perform a variety of valuation types, including but not limited to: Formal credentialed valuations for estate planning, gift and stock transfers, Federal estate tax reporting, equity compensation plans, ESOPs, etc. Non-credentialed strategic analysis and calculation reports for sale and business combination planning, succession and shareholder planning, shareholder buyout and dispute resolution, and general management planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. Responsibilities and Duties: Prepare comprehensive valuation reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders. Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to determine the value of privately held businesses and assets. Analyze market data, industry trends, and economic conditions to support valuation conclusions. Collaborate with BCCF management and personnel to develop and refine valuation methodologies, systems, and processes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of valuation standards, regulations, and best practices. Participate in client meetings and presentations to facilitate engagement deliverables and to explain valuation findings and methodologies. Support business development efforts by preparing proposals and participating in client pitches. Assist with research, preparation, and analytics to support BCCF M&A advisory services. Maintain compliance with applicable valuation certifications.
