Now Hiring: Dock Worker – Be the Backbone of Our Freight Operations

What You’ll Do:

• Handle large, heavy freight (50–75 lbs) with precision in a busy dock setting

• Ensure all shipments meet safety, policy, and customer requirements

• Use proper techniques to protect freight from damage

• Receive and ship freight accurately and efficiently each day

• Organize freight for inbound and outbound trailers

• Assist with administrative tasks related to shipping and receiving

The Details:

• Schedule: Sunday through Thursday

• Pay: $19 per hour

• Moving and handling large and cumbersome freight in a dock environment (50-75 lbs).

• Ensuring compliance with OSHA, Company policies and/or procedures and customer specific requirements.

• Utilizing proper handling techniques to ensure the customer’s freight is protected from damage.

• Ensure all inbound and outbound Freight is accurately and efficiently received and shipped daily in accordance with company procedures.

• Organize and direct inbound and outbound freight to route and line haul trailers.

• Assisting with administrative duties related to shipments.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Self-motivated and results focused.

• Safety-minded.

• Able to work deadlines in high transactional environment.

• Ability to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleagues.

• Physical labor (bending crouching, etc.).

• Environment of physical activity, including bending, stretching, lifting, etc. Repeatedly lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time. Walk (up to 100 yards per occasion), loud noise.

• Due to continuous operation of business, may require shifts outside of business hours and/or a variety of shift schedules.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
