Estimator
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The primary purpose of this position is to accurately assess project costs and prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, with a focus on commercial, industrial, food & beverage, cold storage, and distribution center sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Conduct site visits to gather relevant information for estimating.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project scope and requirements.
Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to provide competitive bids.
Prepare detailed and itemized estimates for various projects.
Track and update estimates as project details change.
Assist in the negotiation process and respond to client inquiries regarding estimates.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably in commercial or industrial sectors.
Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
