This Position reports to: Senior Business Controller As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is onsite/hybrid in Lake Mary, Florida. You will be mainly accountable for: Performs analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast and support Controller with improvement actions. Performs benchmarking of key performance indicators and financial analysis as requested by the controller. To collect, understand, process, verify and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends. Provides information to Controller/management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations. Maintains proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/ internal/external audits and reviews. Qualifications for the role: Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, or related field, in the United States. Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipnow and in the future. Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions. Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality. Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress. Why ABB?
