Overview: Fleet Feet is looking for a dynamic, operations-minded
Franchise Business Coach for New Stores & System Operations to champion the successful onboarding of new franchisees and drive operational excellence across our franchise network.
We are seeking a intermediate/mid-level hire for this role. In this highly collaborative position, you will lead the QuickStart onboarding program, deliver systems training, and coach franchisees on best-in-class operational practices for Fleet Feet stores.
You'll serve as the point of contact for new franchisees, guiding them through systems setup, process adoption, and business execution laying the foundation for sustained success. You'll also partner closely with internal teams and field leaders to ensure franchisees are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to thrive in their local markets.
This role requires a combination of coaching, operational knowledge, and project management expertise, as well as a passion for helping others succeed.

Responsibilities: Franchise Onboarding & Coaching - Lead the QuickStart program, Fleet Feet's onboarding process for first-year franchisees, providing structured coaching and operational support from the moment a franchise agreement is signed through the first year of store operations.
- Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience, providing structured mentorship through store opening milestones and engaging training on key systems such as RICS (POS and inventory), FranConnect, and other third-party partners.
- Conduct on-site visits to support all store openings, reinforce brand standards, and provide hands-on operational coaching.
- Develop and maintain robust onboarding checklists, guides, and training resources that simplify processes and accelerate readiness.
- Deliver Offer feedback and tailored coaching to drive operational performance and long-term sustainability.
- Partner with departments across Fleet Feet including Development, Marketing, and Vendor Management to integrate support strategies and ensure aligned execution.
- Serve as a voice of the franchisee internally, advocating for their needs while upholding brand consistency.
- Serve as a facilitator of franchisee performance groups, guiding best practice sharing, business development discussions, and goal achievement.
Systems Implementation & Support - Ensure full adoption of core business systems across new franchise locations, monitoring utilization and driving process alignment.
- Manage user access and permissions across operational platforms including Franconnect, Waitwhile, and Rockbot.
- Identify system gaps or operational inefficiencies and collaborate on timely solutions.
Qualifications: - 5+ years in retail operations, franchise management, or system implementation roles
- Prior experience onboarding teams, leading process rollouts, and/or supporting franchisees
- Proficiency in retail systems including POS, inventory management, and reporting platforms
- Demonstrate ability to coach and support business leaders
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exceptional project management skills and comfort balancing multiple store timelines
- Ability to travel frequently (up to 50%) to support new store openings, market visits, and key brand events
