Job Title: Global Supply Manager IV
Location: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12-month contract with possible Extension
Pay Rate: $70-$75/hour DOE

Job Summary:

• The Global Supply and Sourcing Manager (GSSM) is responsible for defining equipment sourcing strategies, negotiating for optimal total cost of ownership, ensuring on-time delivery, and managing vendor relationships.

Role Description:
A leading technology company is looking for an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Professional to join its Capex Global Supply and Sourcing team. The role involves:

• Working effectively with suppliers to negotiate optimal sourcing terms.
• Understanding trade-offs between cost, volume, and quality to establish agreements that meet performance standards and ensure long-term supply continuity.
• Collaborating across internal departments such as Engineering, Operations, and Global Supply Management to support business objectives.
• Rapidly synthesizing and communicating findings to senior leadership and identifying potential supply risks that could impact product strategy.
• Enhancing supply chain performance through cost and scenario analysis, as well as benchmarking.
• Developing a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and building should-cost models to achieve competitive pricing.
• Evaluating and mitigating business risks while managing global supply chain disruptions with the support of a worldwide team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate sourcing terms with suppliers to achieve optimal cost and supply agreements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement strategy with broader business goals.
• Communicate strategic insights and risk assessments to senior leadership.
• Analyze supply chain performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build cost models based on manufacturing processes to support negotiations.
• Respond to and manage real-time supply chain disruptions.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in a fast-paced procurement and supply chain environment.
• Knowledge of global supplier development and management within a multinational setting.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
• Skilled in negotiation.
• Capable of managing unexpected challenges in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to make timely decisions based on incomplete information (approximately 80%).

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
