Job Description
This is a full-time position requiring the employee to work Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the AWS facility in Fort Fairfield. Employee is responsible for operating all trucks and equipment on-site; and various other responsibilities; with no subordinate employees.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Heavy equipment operator and is trained to operate all equipment on site.
Maintain wood, metal, tire piles
Empty roll-off containers
Load and haul landfill cover with loader and/or dump truck as necessary
Mowing with farm tractor and bush hog
Snow plowing
Truck and equipment maintenance and repair
Fill-in as spare landfill equipment operator as necessary
Assist in various other areas as requested.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Must hold a Class B Commercial Drivers License
Must be able to operate machinery.
Work without routine direct supervision.
Employee will work safely and follow safety procedures.
