Job Description

Do you love to cook, clean, run errands and do arts and crafts? Our family is looking for a care driven individual who can come 2-4 times per week for 2-3 hours each visit to help us keep our house clean, cook us healthy and simple meals, run errands, and occasionally babysit our 5yo daughter. We’re the Mikado family. I’m Hawk, my wife Kate, our Daughter Alliwin & our Pitbull Luna. We are nomadic, we live in Airbnbs, and run our own businesses from wherever we are in the world. We mostly work from home, so we will be here when you’re helping take care of stuff around the house. We will be in Scottsdale for business, on and off, till the end of 2023 As our Family Assistant you’ll be responsible for the following: Cooking and preparing meals for our family. We can provide simple instructions on how we like our food prepared. Cleaning up the house as needed: Dishes & kitchen clean up Sweeping/mopping/vacuuming Picking up messes & wipe down Folding and hanging clean laundry (don’t worry, we’ll take care of washing it) Bathroom mirrors, toilets, showers Taking out the trash Cleaning out our car Babysit: Play games Arts and crafts Go to the park/playground - our daughter has a pass to the train park about 1.5 miles away Help her with homeschooling stuff NO TV/iPad/Phones - only interactive activities Bath time Meal time Errands & other support: Grocery shopping/pickup Mail Pickup/Dropoff/Returns Give our dog a bath Drop off/Pickup Dry cleaning One thing that is very important to our family is someone who is dedicated to doing a great job. To us that means coming on time, staying till the work is done, When you’re at our house or with our daughter, we ask that you don’t use your phones, unless it’s for emergencies, or to look up instructions on cooking and crafts. OPTIONAL: Interested in more hours? I’m also looking for someone part time to help as my personal administrative assistant.
