The InnoTech Information Security & Technology Solutions internship experience is an 11-week full-time opportunity that starts on May 27th, 2026, and concludes on August 7th, 2026.

This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in the Hartford, CT office. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice.

The hourly rate is $36/hr with 40 hours/week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Additionally, our corporate interns have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a future role with CVS Health.

Relocation:

CVS Health follows a hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that need to move over 50 miles.

Sponsorship:

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

Interns can work with the following teams:

• Information Security & Technology Solutions - The ISTS team drives enterprise technology transformation while safeguarding CVS Health’s information assets through advanced security frameworks, cloud integration, and automation. As data science intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in building and optimizing AI-driven data solutions—working with advanced platforms and tools to integrate, clean, and prepare data; apply NLP and LLM techniques; design and validate experiments; develop models and dashboards; and enhance enterprise search and automation capabilities—enabling innovation across a Fortune organization.

Required Qualifications:

• Meet educational requirements (see education section)

• Experience in data science, with a focus on EDA, NLP, ML model development, validation, and implementation

• Experience working with sensor data, cyber security, or IoT is highly desirable

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

• A self-starter and staying current on the latest GenAI trends, frameworks, and coding practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects

• Have internship, work, or project experience in the related field of Technology

• Show strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills

• Experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch and with NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, or Stanford CoreNLP

• LLM experience building RAG systems, and a familiarity with concepts such as Agents, adding memory to LLMs, routing, moderating content, parsing output

• Strong data visualization skills, with experience using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js

• Experience working with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Experience with containerization using Docker

• Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban

• Have an interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation

Education:

• Currently pursuing a Graduate Degree

• Have a graduation date between September 2026 to August 2027

• Have both a bachelors and graduate degree major in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics
