New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is currently seeking a Instructional Content Creator II with our client in their San Francisco, CA location
This is a 12-month contract position with a possibility to extend and is fully remote.


Description:
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Content Creator to join our team
As an Instructional Content Creator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal mapping workflows and driving rules
Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining training materials such as wiki pages, images, and narrated videos
Additionally, you will coordinate end-to-end training programs with vendors, deliver training for onboarding and continuous learning, and work closely with stakeholders to drive continuous improvements of our SOPs for our client.



Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update SOPs for internal mapping workflows and driving rules
  
  
• Create and maintain training materials, including but not limited to wiki pages, images, and narrated videos
  
  
• Coordinate end-to-end training programs with vendors, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
  
  
• Deliver training sessions for onboarding and continuous learning, adapting content to various learning styles and needs
  
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and drive continuous improvements of our SOPs
  
  
• Support and coordinate user acceptance testing for new tooling changes, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption
  
  
• Serve as the go-to person for SOP questions and provide guidance to all stakeholders, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design for technical training
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated technical aptitude (i.e., you've either written code, queried databases, built complex systems, or similar)
• High proficiency with design tools used in a learning creation (e.g., Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Techsmith Camtasia, etc.)
• Ability to communicate highly complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to meet timelines for deliverables, with accuracy, quality and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize, effectively manage, and communicate about multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong consulting and relationship building skills; ability to work in a collaborative and team-centric culture and influence others without authority
• Commitment to diversity, belonging, and valuing different perspectives

Bonus points!

• Advanced degree and/or professional certifications in Instructional Design, Organizational Development or related field
• Experience with virtual lab environments, software simulations, and/or gamification

Range: The hourly pay rate range for this position is $47.00 - $48.98/hr
Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
This range is subject to change.
