ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of the Marketing team, the Junior Graphic Designer will report to the Senior Graphic Designer and work together to elevate the honeygrow brand through a wide variety of design projects and creative contributions. This entry level role provides the opportunity to become a key member of the marketing department and to participate in strategizing, creation, and production of all design projects. The Junior Graphic Designer should be a motivated, creative individual with a strong knowledge of design software, seeking to create high quality work, and make their mark on the brand.

ROLES + RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Brainstorm and contribute to the generation of new ideas, strategies, and concepts
  • Execute designs and deliver production-ready artwork in all segments of creative output: posters; mailers and cards; apparel and swag; packaging; emails; mobile and kiosk apps; website; digital display menus; and more
  • Act as a brand champion; always pushing the brand forward through quality design
  • Track projects and consistently communicate progress to Senior Graphic Designer
  • Photo editing including retouching, clipping, and exporting to various sizes for company use and digital ordering platforms.
  • Create custom animations using new and existing graphics and video assets.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of photo and video shoots.
  • Update and maintain honeygrow website and digital signage as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Understanding of File Sharing Platforms (Google Drive).
  • Understanding of print production and digital best practices.
  • Animation experience and illustration skills preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Figma preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable asking questions and communicating with various levels of marketing and restaurant staff.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Please note that this is not a remote position. honeygrow’s Restaurant Support Center (HQ) is located in Philadelphia, PA.

Pay or shift range: $55,000 - $58,000 annually

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
