Job Title: Kronos Operator Wage/Hour Status: Non - Exempt Reports to : Chief of Staff for Business & Finances Pay Grade 5: Administrative Support Dept./School : Office of Business & Finances Initiated Date: December 17, 2007 Revised Date: September 30, 2009 Primary Purpose: Contribute to the efficient operation of the district staff attendance utilized the KRONOS and Substitute Employee Management System (SEMS). Qualifications: Education/Certification: High School Diploma/GED or Higher Certified in a computer field (preferred) Experience: Two or more years of clerical and computer experience Knowledge/Skills: Ability to type with reasonable accuracy Follow oral and written instruction Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, database and word processing Proficient in typing, keyboarding, file maintenance and 10-key skills Ability to work in a team environment Ability to meet established deadlines Ability to perform in a fast paced office environment Effective written and oral communication skills Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, and punctuation Ability to work independently Major Responsibilities and Duties: Input data and modifications into the KRONOS System. Translate policy into system requirements and parameters. Incorporate enhanced system features to benefit district. Maintain system documentation, manual, and reference cards. Performs scheduled activities regarding employee attendance including daily activities, weekly and monthly regular reports, end-of-year activities. Prepare monthly absence documentation for payroll processing. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Load software releases and updates of hardware and software. Assist support representative with hardware and software diagnostics. Assist KRONOS users by providing training. Generate reports as requested by Central Office Administration. Extract and interpret information to assist Administration with trend analysis. Assist in providing monthly reports to campus/department for attendance verification. Maintain confidentiality. Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director for Human Assist Kronos campus contact persons with issues arising from Kronos.
