Job Title: Litigation Attorney
\n\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join a fast-growing family law and estate planning firm. The ideal candidate will have years of litigation experience, preferably within family law, and possess strong courtroom, research, and client advocacy skills.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\nRepresent clients in court proceedings and settlement negotiations
\n\t\n\tConduct legal research and case analysis to support litigation strategy
\n\t\n\tDraft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and contracts
\n\t\n\tCommunicate clearly and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts
\n\t\n\tManage caseloads efficiently and meet deadlines
\n\t\n\tStay informed on current legal trends, rules, and procedures
\n\t\n\tParticipate in firm meetings, strategy discussions, and ongoing professional development
\n\t\nQualifications:
\n\nJ.D. from an accredited law school
\n\t\n\tLicensed to practice in Virginia
\n\t\n\tStrong legal writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills
\n\t\n\tAbility to work both independently and collaboratively
\n\t\n\tExcellent time management and organizational skills
\n\t\n\tProfessionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
\n\t\nAdditional Details:
\n\nFull-time, onsite position (some flexibility for work-from-home)
\n\t\n\tHours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
