Location : Albuquerque, NM with hybrid flexibility

Pay : $60000 - $70000 / Year

Job Description:

The Litigation Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare legal documents, discovery requests, and correspondence.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with jurisdiction-specific court rules.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Assist attorneys with deposition preparation and discovery management.
  • Prepare for client meetings, hearings, and trial proceedings.
  • Maintain organized electronic case files and track deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm.
  • Experience with trial preparation, case organization, and calendaring.
  • Familiarity with e-discovery platforms (e.g., Relativity) and related technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed and willingness to travel occasionally.
