Job Description:

The Trailblazer Marketing Consultant (Consultant) is responsible for bringing automotive expertise to the TFG IT team in support of the development of the Trailblazer Marketing and Incentive solutions. The goal of the trailblazer project is to enhance data-driven analysis and insights to optimize GST incentives and marketing strategy, investment and tactical decisions to meet business objectives. The Consultant will work closely with the GST project owners, SMEs, and the TFG IT / Data Science teams to design and develop tools that support data-driven decision-making.

Essential Functions

• Provide input regarding GST proposed end state, including what is included, missing, or needs adjustment.
• Review and propose edits to critical business questions and use-cases to ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Act as an automotive expert to define and apply key automotive principles to IT recommendations and translate business needs to the IT team and vice versa.
• Validate and test the business solutions to ensure they make sense and meet goals.
• Identify issues or concerns with GST and IT teams to mitigate risks.
• Provide subject matter expertise on automotive data sources.
• Evaluate proposed data integrations with business units.
• Ensure marketing and incentive directors are involved in key decisions.
• Participate actively in daily and weekly business and IT meetings to ensure alignment.
