JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an exciting opportunity for a Motion Graphics Designer who can produce original designs and animations for programming on Fox News Channel, Fox Business, Fox Weather, and Fox Nation. The Motion Graphics Designer has a solid foundation in design principles and can own the full design process including research, original logo design, storyboarding, and execution of animations. You are highly conceptual with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively. This is a full-time, project-based role needed until approximately January 2027. * To be considered, you must submit a link to your portfolio. *

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Design show opens, segment bumps, transitions, and set elements from scratch for news and entertainment programming Produce visually engaging key art and style frames utilizing your own original artwork along with photography and library images that capture the editorial and creative tone of each project Pitch designs for new show packages and redesigns. Must be able to storyboard concepts and present your work in a group environment Collaborate with other designers to produce cohesive graphics packages across multiple platforms including print campaigns, set/scenic mockups, digital toolkits, and internal company presentations Work closely with art directors, creative director, and department management to ensure work aligns with network/show identity and editorial guidelines Employ a wide range of techniques and treatments based on the theme and tone of each project Ensure all work conforms to technical requirements and file organization standards Execute same-day requests while balancing assignments with longer deadlines

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor's degree in design is preferred, or equivalent experience 3-5 years' experience with a portfolio where you played a lead/independent creative role Mastery of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator Proven experience with Cinema 4D or Maya Knowledge of Vizrt, Unreal is a plus UI/UX experience is a plus Love of logo design and typography Demonstrated understanding of design principles, composition, color theory Refined sense of motion and animation, particularly relating to typography and logo usage Exceptional attention to detail Ability to find simple solutions to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple concurrent projects Knowledge of current design trends, history, and techniques that will help elevate our brand Broadcast news experience a huge plus We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
