JSG is hiring an HR Coordinator - must have Workday experience for our client in Twinsburg, OH. This is a 3+ months contract opportunity with 100% onsite. 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented  HR Coordinator with a strong foundation in HR operations and a working knowledge of  Workday to join our team in the manufacturing/aerospace industry. This role plays a key part in supporting the HR function across multiple areas including employee onboarding, HRIS data management, compliance, and general employee support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries and provide timely resolution or escalation.

• Support the onboarding and offboarding process, including I-9 verification, background checks, and new hire orientation.

• Maintain and update employee records in  Workday , ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

• Generate and distribute HR reports, metrics, and dashboards from Workday as needed.

• Assist in the coordination of employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications.

• Collaborate with payroll, benefits, and talent acquisition teams to ensure seamless HR service delivery.

• Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

• Support HR process improvement initiatives and participate in cross-functional projects.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a human resources support role, preferably within  manufacturing or aerospace .

• Hands-on experience with Workday (HRIS); comfortable navigating, updating, and reporting.

• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook).

• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
