Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of database solutions using PL/SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
- Oversee the design and architecture of database systems to ensure optimal performance
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on PL/SQL and Oracle PL/SQL best practices
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Ensure the security and integrity of database systems through regular audits and updates
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures
- Monitor database performance and implement improvements as needed
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Participate in the planning and execution of database migrations and upgrades
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to PL/SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates
