Job Description:
  • The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health needs or important health decisions.
  • This entry-level role assists patients with care and compassion, greeting them upon arrival and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • The individual helps maintain the integrity of the waiting area and supports other phlebotomists during breaks.
  • They will also be trained in phlebotomy skills to grow within the organization.
  • The role involves creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients in a safe and accurate manner.
  • This individual will demonstrate excellence in customer care with strong attention to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
  • Under the direction of the area supervisor, the representative will perform daily activities accurately and maintain a safe and professional environment.
  • The individual will maintain required records, promote a positive image, and show willingness to learn new skills.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • bility to assist patients with care and compassion during check-in using kiosks or handheld tablets.
  • Willingness to learn phlebotomy skills and assist during downtime or breaks.
  • bility to perform specimen collection and processing duties once trained, following established procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Keyboard and data entry experience.
Experience:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience (e.g., retail, home health aide)
  • No prior phlebotomy experience required.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and assist with questions or concerns.
  • Maintain the waiting area and support patient flow.
