Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and dedicated Physical/Health Education Teacher for an onsite position in the Lima, PA area for the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time opportunity within a high school setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting student health and physical development while demonstrating effective classroom and behavioral management skills.
Provide direct instruction in physical and health education to high school students.
Demonstrate strong knowledge and instructional skills in the subject area.
Create and implement lesson plans aligned with current Pennsylvania state and district standards.
Utilize formative assessments and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Maintain a safe, organized, and respectful classroom environment.
Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student growth and engagement.
Maintain compliance with all school district policies and procedures.
Must have active teaching certification (Physical/Health Education) in Pennsylvania.
Bachelors degree required to obtain an emergency teaching permit, if applicable.
Must have recent school-based experience .
Strong classroom and behavioral management skills are essential.
Experience working in an urban school setting preferred.
Comfortable working onsite in the Lima, PA area and within the district's culture.
Must have PA state clearances completed within the past year (FBI Fingerprinting, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and PA State Police Criminal Background Check).
Must be able to pass an initial phone screening with a Soliant recruiter prior to district consideration.
Must be able to participate in a Zoom interview with the school district.
