Public Relations Manager
Summary
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Public Relations Manager to support a fast-growing portfolio of smart home products and services. This role focuses on crafting compelling narratives, leading high-visibility product launches, and shaping communications that make complex technology accessible, relatable, and newsworthy.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer with strong media instincts, deep experience developing launch strategies, and the ability to provide thoughtful counsel to senior leaders. Success in this role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and confidence navigating a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead public relations strategies for major product and service launches, including emerging AI-driven features.
  • Support narrative development and integrated PR campaigns that tell a cohesive innovation story.
  • Identify and shape storytelling opportunities that resonate with customers and media.
  • Partner closely with marketing and go-to-market teams to ensure seamless execution of launch initiatives.
  • Collaborate with analyst relations, consumer PR teams, and other communications partners during major industry moments.
  • Work directly with product teams to translate complex technology into simple, compelling messaging.
  • Provide clear, strategic communications counsel to business executives on both short-term needs and long-term positioning.
  • Engage with media, influencers, and cross-functional partners to align messaging and ensure consistent narrative delivery.

  • Managing and owning distinct PR initiatives within the smart home product portfolio.

  • Contributing to cross-functional planning and execution for upcoming launches.
  • Developing messaging, drafting press materials, and identifying media opportunities.
  • High level of interaction with internal teams; work involves balancing independent ownership with collaborative execution.
  • Standard work schedule with flexibility as needed to support launch-driven deadlines.

  • 7+ years of recent professional experience in communications or public relations.
  • Proven ability to write, refine, and evolve clear messaging and strategic communications plans.
  • Strong capability to distill complex concepts into simple, newsworthy narratives.
  • Demonstrated track record building successful, high-impact launch strategies.
  • Confidence engaging with leaders and driving alignment across stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and proactively identify solutions.
