Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Real Estate Investment & Development Analyst to support the acquisition, planning, financing, and execution of complex development and redevelopment projects across multifamily, hospitality, and other asset classes. This role is integral to driving projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic investment goals, timelines, and financial objectives.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in real estate development, financial modeling, and project coordination, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.

The Analyst will be deeply involved in the predevelopment phase, providing analytical and project management support throughout entitlements, design development, feasibility modeling, and financial structuring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain dynamic, input-driven financial models to evaluate project feasibility, monitor capital development, and support equity and debt fundraising efforts.
  • Create and track detailed project budgets, development schedules, and reporting tools to evaluate performance against key milestones.
  • Coordinate across diverse teams of consultants, contractors, municipal agencies, and internal teams to facilitate timely and cost-effective project execution.
  • Organize and lead recurring internal and external project meetings by setting agendas, recording detailed notes, tracking action items, and ensuring all stakeholders follow through on assigned responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Track and monitor individual and team responsibilities using collaborative tools to ensure progress, escalate bottlenecks, and reinforce deadlines in support of project goals.
  • Manage RFPs and consultant contracts, and assist in scope review and procurement of predevelopment contractors.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Accounting, Finance, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate development, project coordination, or financial analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience building and reviewing real estate financial models.
  • Familiarity with the development process, including entitlements, permitting, design, and preconstruction phases.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with a real estate developer, owner/operator, or institutional real estate investment firm.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with land use and zoning regulations, entitlement processes, and navigating municipal approvals.
  • Understanding of capital stack structures, including equity, debt, and public financing mechanisms (e.g., tax credits, subsidies, grants).
