What You’ll Do

As a PCU RN , you’ll care for patients who require a higher level of monitoring and intervention than a standard Med-Surg or Telemetry unit. You’ll deliver evidence-based nursing care using the ANA Standards and Nursing Process—serving as an advocate, educator, and technical expert for your patients and families.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Monitor complex patients and manage advanced equipment and technology
• Educate patients and families on self-care and recovery
• Collaborate across disciplines to promote safe, high-quality outcomes

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted RN license (state of permanent residence)
• BLS (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS within 12 months of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification obtained during orientation

Schedule & Environment

• Day, evening, or night shifts available
• Weekend and holiday rotations per department need
• Overtime as required for patient acuity and census
