Job Description

Safety Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Coordinator to support health and safety initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OSHA regulations, risk assessment, and safety training, with a passion for promoting a culture of safety and compliance. This is a great opportunity for a safety professional to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments throughout the facility.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training, and inspections.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to implement and improve safety policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a point of contact for safety-related concerns and provide guidance on best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in a safety role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and educate others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems.
  • Certification such as OSHA 30, CSP, or CHST is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: Starting at $65,000 based on experience

Hours: Monday through Friday
