The Unarmed Security Guard assigned to the guard shack is responsible for controlling access to the property, monitoring incoming and outgoing traffic, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to follow established security procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Staff and monitor the guard shack at the property entrance.
Control access by verifying identification, credentials, or authorization
Log all visitor, employee, and vehicle entries and exits.
Issue visitor passes and provides directions as needed.
Monitor security cameras, radios, and alarm systems.
Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures.
Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
Communicate incidents clearly to supervisors or emergency personnel.
Maintain accurate written and electronic reports.
Provide a professional and courteous presence at all times.
