As a Security Professional - Government Patrol - Afternoon Shift in Soquel, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine tours throughout the assigned area, remaining highly visible to help prevent potential issues, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals you encounter. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your duties. You will also be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, responding to situations as they arise and working collaboratively with your team. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow all post orders and instructions specific to the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
