Senior Business Analyst – Enterprise Data Strategy & Analytics

Location: Richmond, VA (Onsite)

Salary Range: $99,100 - $113,100 per year

Job Overview

A leading financial services company is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join its Enterprise Data Strategy & Analytics team. This role is ideal for an analytical and strategic thinker who can leverage data to drive business decisions, improve operational efficiency, and support enterprise data objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop insights, test strategies, and contribute to the organization’s data transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Strategy: Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement through data-driven insights.
• Product & Pricing Analytics: Perform modeling and analytics to support new product and pricing strategies.
• Marketing & Customer Insights: Build targeted insights to inform marketing strategies and enhance customer experiences.
• Credit Risk Management: Develop models and analyses to improve credit performance and risk assessment.
• Execution & Implementation: Develop hypotheses, test solutions, and lead implementation efforts.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to improve business processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, or Engineering).
• At least 1 year of experience in data analysis or business analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience in statistical model building.
• 1+ years of experience in market research.
• 1+ years of experience in SQL querying.
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis.
• 1+ years of experience in consulting.
