Job Title: Lumper Associate
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Job description:
PrideNow is hiring for a Lumber Associate for one of our food distribution clients in Monroe Township, NJ. It's a short-term contract with possibility to get extended depending on your performance.
Pay range: $18-19/hour
Schedule: 1st / Day shift hours
Note: It’s an auto-offer without an interview. In order to start, you just need to go through the ABLE Paperwork and your Background check. Tentative start date is 8/11 (Monday)
Key Responsibilities:
Manually unloading and loading cargo, including packages, materials, and pallets, from trucks and containers.
Utilizing equipment like pallet jacks, and potentially forklifts, to move cargo.
Sorting, stacking, and organizing goods, often rebuilding or breaking down pallets.
Checking for damage, verifying shipment accuracy, and ensuring proper labeling.
Ensuring a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
Collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and task prioritization.
