Description

Apples UI Frameworks team is looking for a software engineer to help define both the look and feel of our software and products and how users interact with them.Your work will directly impact how developers and customers engage with our products. You will collaborate closely with human interface designers and internal clients to combine eyes and hands to envision completely new spatial interactions such as virtual object manipulation. You will also drive collaborations with partner teams to support input devices such as controllers, keyboards, and mice.You will work in Swift, Objective-C, and C++.Successful engineers will be comfortable working across the full spectrum, from the UI down to the protocols and system integration layers.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of software development or experience leading large software development projects
• Established track record working on Frameworks, Libraries and APIs
• Proficient in Swift, ObjC and C++

Preferred Qualifications

• Broad exposure to Apple UI frameworks (SwiftUI, UIKit, CoreAnimation)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across multiple systems
• Experience designing scalable and maintainable architectures for large projects
• Attention to detail, creativity and passion

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
