Position Summary

Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join their Radiology team for a 13-week contract assignment. The technologist will perform a wide variety of specialized CT procedures using advanced imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results and patient safety. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical expertise, patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all diagnostic CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Properly position, transfer, and immobilize patients to ensure optimal imaging results.
• Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring quality control and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Participate in rotational call coverage for 24-hour CT service.
• Accurately document procedures and transfer images into PACS.

Required Qualifications

• Certification: ARRT (CT) and current BLS (AHA).
• License: Active Oregon licensure (must be in hand prior to start).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience ; GE CT equipment experience required.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of accredited radiology program.
• Ability to work independently and manage medium to heavy physical demands (lifting 100–300 lbs).

Preferred:

• ARRT registration in both CT and MRI.
• Prior experience in acute care hospital settings.

Schedule & Hours

• Shift: Evenings, Monday–Friday
• Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week guaranteed)
• Call Rotation: Rotational call – 4 weekdays one week with weekend off, followed by weekend coverage the next week.

• Orientation: 13 hours provided.
