American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and experience supporting a wide range of interventional procedures.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in a large, dynamic interventional radiology (IR) division covering IR, CT-guided procedures, vascular and cardiac hybrid procedures, endovascular neurosurgery, and endoscopic interventions
  • Serve a multidisciplinary team alongside nurses, advanced practice providers, physicians, residents, and technologists
  • Primary responsibilities across radiology and OR settings supporting minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
  • Procedures include angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, TIPS, dialysis access, and Y90/SIRT
  • Uses Epic EMR system; Epic experience is preferred
  • Scheduled shifts are 07:30 to 18:00
  • Active participation in a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care
  • Tasks include running imaging equipment, assisting in sterile technique, and providing case circulation
  • Collaborative team environment with ongoing support from physicians and technical staff
  • No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation and paid parking options only
  • Local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from the facility and will receive a reduced rate
  • Proof of MA Radiography License required prior to consideration

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology
  • Active ARRT certification required
  • Valid Massachusetts State Radiography License required if applicable; conditional licenses not accepted
  • Current BLS certification; AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted
  • Experience with neuro, cardiac, or vascular interventional procedures strongly preferred
  • Ability to operate advanced imaging equipment, maintain a sterile field, and perform as case circulator in both radiology and surgical environments
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Flu vaccination required; no religious or medical exemptions permitted
