Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN with a MA license and chemotherapy certification for a BMT clinic day shift assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a bone marrow transplant clinic within a hematology and oncology department
• Patient population includes individuals with hematologic malignancies and those receiving bone marrow transplants
• Day shift position working 10-hour shifts from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• No on-call requirements noted
• Responsibilities include providing nursing care for oncology and bone marrow transplant patients
• Pass/fail testing required for Tele/ECG and medication knowledge for certain campuses
• Expensive parking available onsite, with public transportation as an alternative
• All requests for time off must be presented at the time of consideration

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration
• Chemotherapy certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of hematology/oncology nursing experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required
• Current flu vaccination required prior to start, with medical exemptions accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine and booster required, with medical exemptions accepted
• Must not have worked in any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility in any capacity within the last 6 months
