Transdev in is hiring a Tunnel Track Laborer covering the 11 Southern California Counties. CBA Position: Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement: + Starting payrate $50.73/ hour Benefits include: Covered through the union fringe benefits: health & welfare, vacation, pension, and annuity fund. Key Responsibilities: + Must be a skilled track laborer + Moves and replaces rail fasteners. + Lifts rail, etc. + This is a skilled position-Person must be a trained skilled Laborer Qualifications + High School Diploma or equivalent + Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years + must have knowledge of using track jacks and be able to lift 50 lbs. or more. + Work schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, all-night work. Physical Requirements: + Ability to sit for long periods of time in a confined space operating the streetcar + Must be able to walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend and reach overhead + Good manual dexterity + Must be able to sustain alertness under tedious circumstances + Must be able to work in various outdoor temperatures and weather conditions + Must be able to work variable shifts including nights/weekends/holidays About Transdev: Cities, counties, airports, companies, and universities across the U.S. contract with Transdev to operate their transportation systems, maintain their vehicle and fleets, and deliver on mobility solutions.
