Justin Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll make a meaningful impact in the lives of pets and their families every day.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Provide gentle restraint and comfort to pets during care
• Maintain clean and organized exam rooms, kennels, and surgical areas
• Administer medications and monitor post-operative recovery under supervision
• Communicate with pet owners and support them through their pet’s care journey
• Perform basic lab work, handle samples, and manage patient records

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred
• Strong animal handling skills and a calm, compassionate demeanor
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being
