• Support and champion process improvements to enhance shop productivity, customer satisfaction, and technician efficiency.

• Represent West End Auto Works’ commitment to integrity, quality workmanship, and exceptional automotive repair hospitality.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of hands-on experience in professional automotive diagnostics, repair, and troubleshooting across a wide range of passenger road vehicles.

• Proven ability to accurately diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues with minimal customer comebacks.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a shop environment (lead technician, foreman, or informal team lead).

• Hands-on experience using shop management software (Tekmetric is a plus) in documenting technician findings and inspection reports (DVI)

• Ability to mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to technicians of varying skill levels.

• Strong understanding of shop workflow, repair prioritization, and time management.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain findings, diagnoses, repair needs, and timelines to service advisors and management.

• Commitment to quality workmanship, safety, cleanliness, and professional shop standards.

• High level of personal accountability, integrity, and attention to detail.

• Must be able to provide a verifiable work history (professional references).

• Authorization to work for any United States employer without visa sponsorship
