Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Account Manager to oversee day-to-day client relationships and drive the flawless execution of integrated marketing campaigns. This role requires a strong communicator who can partner effectively across cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver creative solutions that align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Exercise effective communication skills to manage business partners, clients, and internal teams, developing compelling presentations and selling work confidently.
• Drive flawless execution of marketing campaigns with partners across Cigna Corporation.
• Act as a marketing, category, and segment expert—keeping the agency team informed, focused, and motivated about business performance and objectives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and business partners, ensuring smooth daily operations and visibility for Account Directors.
• Lead recurring client status meetings, provide accurate updates, and manage follow-up actions.
• Develop and deliver effective internal briefs to cross-disciplinary marketing teams, aligning plans with business objectives and brand promise.
• Champion outstanding creative work throughout the review and approval process.
• Build strong relationships with Creative, Production, Studio, Integrated Production, and other agency departments and partner companies.
• Recommend and implement ways to streamline communication both internally and with clients.
• Evaluate input and ideas relative to strategic direction and client preferences.
• Facilitate business presentations and internal briefings.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Proactively troubleshoot issues and adapt plans to meet evolving client and business needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in marketing or advertising, including 1–2 years managing direct reports.
• Advertising agency experience strongly preferred .
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment with competing deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities with a client-first mindset.
• Track record of managing client expectations, budgets, and timelines effectively.
• Experienced in marketing strategy and core agency capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Fast, creative thinker with exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing business needs.
