Join our Team We are looking for an experienced licensed part time Massage Therapist that is passionate about creating a relaxing and calming experience for our spa guests. The ideal candidate has a minimum of one year of previous experience in a luxury Spa environment. Strong communication skills are mandatory. This position does require an applicant with a flexible schedule that is able to work day and afternoon shifts, weekends, and holidays when needed. A valid Florida MT license is required.
What you will do - To undertake other duties and responsibilities which, while outside the normal routine, are within the overall scope of the position.
- To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform/attire. To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department personal appearance standards. Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- To provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
- To comply with local legislation as required.
- To maintain good working relationships with your colleagues and all other departments through working by The Golden Rule.
- To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the industry, company or hotel.
- To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.
- To attend training and meetings as and when required.
- To ensure a safe workplace by identifying hazards and taking corrective action.
- Assist the Spa reception by escorting guests to the appropriate locker rooms and providing an orientation of the area and amenities.
- Assist in the selling of retail items.
- Assist the Spa Attendants in retrieving/stocking/folding and generally tidying Locker Rooms and other guest areas.
- Respond properly to any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
What you bring - Sk ills and Abilities : Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Education: High school education or equivalent experience
- Experience: At least 6 months experience within the same or similar position with Four Seasons or other organization. Hotel or restaurant experience preferred.
