We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be expected to:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system in accordance with industry standards.
2. Plan, conduct, and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
3. Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
4. Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
5. Collect and compile statistical quality data.
6. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
7. Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
8. Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
9. Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers.
10. Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
11. Responsible for the document management systems.
12. Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of three years of experience in a quality assurance role within the manufacturing industry.
3. A PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) certification.
4. Proven experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
5. Extensive knowledge of quality assurance standards, methodologies, and principles.
6. Demonstrated experience in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
10. Proficiency in using various software and technology tools for quality assurance.
