The Strategic Sourcing Analyst position is an exciting opportunity to provide analytical support of strategic sourcing projects and supplier spend analysis. Responsibilities As a new employee you will learn the job and stakeholders, understand the projects that you will be responsible for supporting, understand the benefits capture methodology utilized for Procurement, and become integrated into the Procurement day-to-day support of strategic sourcing projects. Use your excellent analytical and customer service skills while prioritizing your work. This position includes a great team environment but includes variety working with internal customers, suppliers and employees. This role includes: Spend data collection and analysis RFx pricing templates Comparative analysis of supplier proposals and financials Development of cost models and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models Benefits calculations Qualifications 2+ years of related experience as an analyst directly supporting multiple strategic sourcing projects Experience with analytical support of category management Cost modeling experience Data warehouse experience Strategic Sourcing methodology and analytical support experience Proficiency in data management and warehousing Familiarity using an E-Sourcing tool Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills Superior Logic, Reasoning, and Analytical background and skills Strong project management skills Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Science or Management or equivalent related experience This position works at a local Kemper office with opportunity to work remote at times during the year. The range for this position is $53200 to $88600. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors.
