Established in 2015, TBVA is a fast-growing operations company that supports more than 40 active clients across various industries. As the company expands, it is building a team of talented Virtual Assistants to support clients in administrative, technical, creative, and client-facing roles.

Position Overview

TBVA is hiring General Virtual Assistants (VAs) to support clients with a wide range of tasks. This is a flexible, remote role with opportunities for growth for VAs who demonstrate reliability, skill, and initiative.

The hourly rate for each client ranges from $7–$9/hour , depending on the nature of the work and the client’s requirements. The role begins with a short trial period to assess fit and working style before moving to ongoing assignments.

Role Types

As part of the application, you will be asked to indicate your area of expertise:

  • General VA: Administrative, scheduling, inbox, and day-to-day operations support.
  • Executive VA: High-level executive support, strategic scheduling, and client-facing communication.
  • Specialized VA: Social media, tech, web development, marketing, creative, or other specialized roles.

Responsibilities

Your tasks will vary by client but may include work in the following areas:

  • Administrative Support: Calendar and scheduling management, travel research, file management (Google Drive, Dropbox), data entry, reporting, drafting communications, vendor coordination, and general research.
  • Customer Service & Email Management: Handling client inquiries, processing orders and refunds, managing live chat, and organizing email inboxes.
  • Finance Support: Creating invoices, processing payments, budget tracking, and preparing financial reports and statements.
  • Project Management: Assigning and tracking tasks (ClickUp, Trello), writing SOPs, building workflows, monitoring progress, and quality control.
  • Website, Content, and Marketing Support: Blog formatting, plugin updates, site maintenance, security updates, email marketing, social media scheduling, graphic design (Canva), and basic video or podcast editing.
  • Sales Funnels, Ads & Outreach: Setting up webinars, sales funnels, and landing pages, running paid ad campaigns, and managing influencer outreach.

The ideal candidate will have experience in several of these areas:

  • Core Skills: Calendar management, inbox management, graphic design, data entry, social media management, video editing, email marketing, CRM, sales funnels, digital content creation, project management, editing, proofreading, online research, digital marketing, lead generation, audio editing, and travel research.
  • Software Proficiency: Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, Airtable, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Asana, Trello, Teamwork, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Canva, Grammarly, ChatGPT, Loom, Zapier, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Threads, Chrome, CapCut, Outlook, WhatsApp, and Reddit.

Hardware & Tech Setup

Applicants must have reliable devices and an internet connection to ensure smooth work delivery.

  • Device Types: Smartphone, Windows Laptop, Desktop, or Chromebook.
  • Operating Systems: Windows 10 or 11, Android, or iOS.
  • Accessories: Headset with microphone, mouse, keyboard, webcam, and backup internet.

Pay & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $7–$9/hour paid via Wise on the 1st and 15th of each month.
  • PTO: 24 hours annually for full-time contractors.
  • Sick Leave: 6 hours after six months.
  • Paid Vacation: 30 hours after one year.

Bonuses & Incentives

  • Birthday Bonus: $50.
  • One-Year Anniversary Bonus: $100.
  • End-of-Year Bonus: $200 (+ unused vacation payout option).
  • Contractor of the Month Award: $100.
  • Performance-Based Bonuses: For team recognition and client satisfaction.
  • Hardware Program: $800 reimbursement for a new PC setup after one year, with an upgrade option every three years.
