Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Block schedule can no longer be accomodated but will consider weekend only requests. Cardiac Thoracic ICU: RN; 12-hour Night shifts; Teaching Facility experience preferred; Prior travel experience required; Min 2-3yrs experience required; ACLS/ BLS / NIHSS Required - in need of nurses that can recover open heart surgery patients. All open-heart patients, thoracic cases including VATS, Ecmo, Impella, LVAD, IABP, CRRT, MIs, and CHF Vital signs machine, glucometer, SCDs, bladder scanner, vein finder, remote tele capable, wound vacs, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, chest tubes, tube feeding pumps (Kangaroo), and oxygen delivery devices. COVID / FLU vax or declination Required - Need all SUBS pre locked on these. For recruitment purposes - Start dates Occur every Other Monday 8/25 & 9/8 . All RTO must be submitted and approved prior to acceptance. Centra accepts approved declinations for Covid/Flu. No local traveler under 60 miles will be accepted. Client can cancel up to 3 shifts per assignment due to census. Centra is a teaching hospital and YOU will work and encounter students and new hires often. We expect all team members, including travelers, to contribute to a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires.
