About you and the role

• As a Travel Paramedic, you will respond to emergency medical calls and provide pre-hospital care to victims in response to 911 emergency calls. You will coordinate with law enforcement agencies, and perform patient assessments to obtain critical medical information and deliver treatment during life-threatening emergencies

What you will do

• Respond to emergencies
• Assess a patient’s status
• Deliver basic and advanced life support based on local protocols and patient care standards
• Operate and maintain ambulance and associated equipment in a safe-ready status, compliant with established client requirements and national standards
• Ensure all required medical supplies are stocked and in full operation
• Maintain a flexible, adaptable mindset with constant changing team dynamics, eager to jump in as a team player and patient advocate.
• Maintain a consistent, open line of communication between you, your teammates, and BPM Operations Managers.
• Deliver exceptional emergency medical care in diverse and challenging settings
• Adapt quickly to different EMS systems, protocols, and equipment
• Work collaboratively with local teams, medical facilities, and community partners
• Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care in both high- and low-volume environments
• Represent Best Practice Medicine with professionalism and clinical excellence.

CURRENT ASSIGNMENTS AVAILABLE:

Central GA - $40/hour + Housing Stipend

Southern UT - $36/hour + Housing Stipend

Fairfield CA - $50/hour + Housing Provided

• 2+ years of 911 experience in a busy 911 system as a paramedic
• National Registry Paramedic
• Ability to obtain assignment state licensure.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS
• PHTLS
• NIMS: 100, 200, 700, 800
• Current Immunizations (MMR, Hep B, TDAP)
• Negative TB test within the last 12 months
